Kent Bar Mess

The Kent Bar Mess is one of the oldest Messes on the Circuit and presently has over 200 Ordinary, Judicial and Honorary members who practice in the Court Centres at Maidstone (Resident Judge, HHJ Carey) and Canterbury (Resident Judge, HHJ Williams), Medway and Tunbridge Wells and elsewhere.

The Mess has recently set up a website at www.kentbarmess.org  in order to improve communications with the membership and organises a range of social events, including the Annual Dinner (to be held this year on 26 November 2010), several cricket matches (including this year a game with Sussex Bar Mess against 'The Gentlemen of Lewes') and an informal, family-friendly, garden party is being planned for 2011, as well as training events for the members.
